Today:

Today was a wonderful day! We got up early and went to Donana National Park. It was a bit disappointing as far as wildlife goes. We were able to see some birds..flamingo too but nothing over the top exciting. However, I will say it was wonderful to be able to be in a jeep with the wind in my face and the beautiful park scenery around us. It was a gorgeous (once again HOT day). We felt we were on a safari and were looking for lions and tigers and elephants. Sad to say we never saw any!

After the national park with a wonderful picnic lunch, Sarah and I went by the river and layed out for a bit. The sun was so hot that I think it was actually unhealthy for us to be out in the sun. We ended up in the shade for a bit and just talked. Seriously, one of my favorite things to do here is just sit and chat with that girl alongside the river. We walked over to the internet cafe where I wrote Bethany a very long email! haha and then....we were walking down the stairs...A HUGE FLIGHT of stairs when all of a sudden I slipped and fell. Almost all the way down. Poor Sarah tried to keep her laughter in and asked me if I was ok. I was laughing so hard and then she began to laugh with me. Yikes! (Todd you would know that I slip and fall all over the sidewalks at school!)

We ended the night with a wonderful chocolate milkshake :) Yummmmmy. haha I really do talk about food alot don't I?

Tomorrow is a morning visit to a place not far from here called Italica. According to Dr. Wiseman (the prof here with us from Cedarville) it is supposed to be preeeetty cool.

We have six days of classes left. Four this week and Three next week Plus our final exams. Where has the time gone! I feel I am just now starting to get settled into the culture and already the time is beginning to slowly slip away. I have so much to learn and so much to see!

We had an oral quiz the other day in our Intro to Lit class. We have been choosing different topics every day and coming up with vocab words to go along with the topic. For example: La Playa (The Beach) Words I didn't know would be like sunscreen, seagull, seashell, etc. Our Prof. Coro asked us random words and we had to describe them to her. I think I did good which made me happy. I only forgot one word and couldn't remind it for the life of me! We have also been having quizzes in out composition class. He is preparing us for the final. haha Much prayers will be needed for that day!!

Well, it is 5:10 at home right now and about 11:10 here. Tomorrow is another long day but should be a good one as well. I will keep you posted on my life as best as I can. I love this blog. Love it. Bethany you are so smart for suggesting it (I am supposed to give all props to her!! hehe)
