So far I really like the food here :)I have lucked out with having a senora who used to own a restaurant. All of the things she has made I have really liked (well the Spinach dip was a little to much for me. One of the pictures is of chips that look like lays chips. They melted cheese on the chips and mixed egg in with them and then backed them. They were SO GOOD!!! I want to try making them when I get home. And then the desserts. Mmmmm....When we were in Jerez we were treated to lunch. They had food coming out left and right for us. This dessert was devoured in two minutes. Yum!! Oh! And the picture of the Portuguese cheese :)That was so good. I didn't want it to end haha.

Portugal

We took a bus to Portugal that left at 12.am and got to Portugal 3 hours later. When we arrived we walked around for a bit and stumbled across the most adorable hotel/hostel. The man at the front desk was as sweet as could be and even spoke English! He gave us a room with three beds that had a TV (of course all in Portuguese) and came with free breakfast. No sooner did we walk in our room that we crashed. We were so exhausted! The next day we went to the beach and spent most of the day there. The beach was wonderful. One of my favorite things to do is to lie on the beach in the sun and go for a relaxing swim. The waves though were so high and strong I could not even get half way in without being swept away. Haha We had fun down by the water bracing ourselves as each waves tried to sweep us away. A good workout! The afternoon was low key with a night in town for dinner. Sadly, we were all craving pizza and ended up eating at an Italian restaurant. Hahaha lame I know. We did get Portuguese cheese though for our appetizer! Portugal is beautiful and the people are so nice. Sometimes in Spain we feel like we are looked down upon because we are Americans and people are not friendly to us because of that. In Portugal it was not the case. We were able to catch the gorgeous sunset before returning to our hotel for the evening. We woke up late on Sunday morning grab a delightful breakfast and relaxed in the cutest part of town. Now here we are back “home” again in Seville getting ready to start week number 3. I still cannot get over the fact that we have only been here for two weeks. It seems like forever ago since I have been home. These next four weeks are going to fly by!!!!!
A visit to Jerez

We took a day trip to Jerez. These are some of the photos from this trip! We left on Friday at 8:30am and returned around 7pm. We were able to visit a Cathedral in Jerez, visit a winery, and climb a tower with a great overlook. At the winery, we were able to see how wine was made and the process that goes along with that. It was very interesting to see and hear about! One of my favorite parts of this day trip was the scenery. As you can tell by the pictures it is beautiful. I absolutely loved it and I love being able to share it with you all :)
My House
My house is a very cute house :)
I share a room with a girl named Melissa (from Cedarville). We did not know each other before we got here. We each have our own bed and we share a bathroom. Our house is very clean and our senora has a cleaning lady who cleans the house for her several days a week. We even have a closet were we can hang our clothes up so we don't have to live out of a suitcase for six weeks!!

The pictures...
Basically the people you see in the picture are people from Cedarville. We have been on several different tours which they are in some of the pictures.
Seville is a beautiful city and I am enjoying learning more about it!
